Beginner Program
A 12 to 16 week coaching pathway for students ready to build the scientific habits, project discipline, and confidence needed for more advanced opportunities.
You do not need prior research experience.
This pathway is designed for high school and early undergraduate students who have a basic foundation in biology or a related life sciences subject.
Students should be ready to work independently, engage with feedback, and commit 5 to 7 hours each week. The fit assessment confirms whether the program and timing are appropriate.

Another Way to Begin:
Group Cohorts.
Some students do their best thinking alongside others. Our 12 to 16-week program is available in both individual and small group formats.
In the Individual Track, your coach's attention is yours alone. In the Group Cohort, 2 to 4 students move through the same 12-week program together, with coaching shared across the group in a larger collaborative research project.
Same structure. Same rigor. Same symposium-ready outcome. The shared format is what makes this track more accessible, while keeping the experience just as rich.
A great fit if you're applying with friends or classmates, or simply enjoy working alongside peers.
We confirm program and track fit before enrolment.
One-on-one coaching, fully dedicated to your project and pace.
The 16-week extended track gives students the opportunity to pursue a novel research project, a significant achievement at the beginner level.
Shared coaching across 2 to 4 students. Same structure, more accessible, built-in peer community.
