The Role

A growth role that combines marketing and business development into one mandate. You will build uMaster's digital presence on one side, and build the partner relationships (counselors, IECs, schools) that bring students to our programs on the other.

You'll report directly to the founding team with real ownership over how uMaster reaches new families. Compensation is a base retainer plus uncapped commission. The more growth you drive, the more you earn.

What You'll Do

  • Drive digital presence through SEO, blog content, email campaigns, and social media
  • Create and manage marketing collateral with designers and writers
  • Own the umaster.world site experience and conversion optimization
  • Track performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and CMS dashboards
  • Build and manage relationships with counselors, IECs, and institutional partners
  • Run outreach, lead generation, and partner database management
  • Launch growth experiments: A/B tests, new channels, and partner campaigns

What We're Looking For

  • Generalist across content, SEO, social, and outreach
  • Strong writing for international audiences
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Familiar with Analytics, HubSpot, Ahrefs, or similar
  • Understanding of the high-school counselor ecosystem is a plus
  • 2+ years in marketing, growth, or BD is a plus

The Role

uMaster runs hands-on practical internships where students work on real projects with research organizations, including in emerging fields like Biosignatures, life sciences, and computational biology. These are not simulated. Students work on real problems and produce real outputs.

You will own the student experience end to end, from selection through project completion, working closely with research partners and parents to make sure every student finishes with a meaningful outcome.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee selection and onboarding of students into the internship program
  • Coordinate between students, research partners, and parents throughout the program
  • Ensure students complete projects within agreed timelines and quality bar
  • Be the main point of contact for student support, questions, and escalations
  • Spot and resolve issues before they escalate
  • Build and improve systems for more effective cohort and partner management
  • Help shape the internship experience as uMaster scales to new cohorts

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM, education, or social sciences
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Strong organisational skills across multiple cohorts
  • Genuine passion for coaching young people in STEM
  • Program management or student success experience is a plus
  • International experience is a plus

The Role

This role sits at the heart of uMaster's academic experience. You'll get a 360-degree view of how a science coaching program runs end to end, from matching coaches with students to ensuring every project hits its milestones.

You'll work directly with the founders to keep programs running smoothly, maintain academic quality, and continuously improve how uMaster delivers on its promise to students.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate coach and student onboarding and scheduling across cohorts
  • Track student progress against milestones and flag risks early
  • Liaise with coaches to ensure consistency and quality of research guidance
  • Support curriculum development and academic resources
  • Manage academic calendars, session scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Run quality checks on student deliverables (research plans, drafts, presentations)
  • Be the academic point of contact for students, parents, and coaches
  • Assist the founders with academic special projects and new program launches

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM or a research-related field
  • Strong project management across multiple cohorts
  • Academic coordination or research admin experience is a plus
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Comfortable working with coaches and students across disciplines

The Role

One of uMaster's core promises is that student research reaches the world: publications, symposium presentations, and competition results that carry real weight on a college application.

You'll work with uMaster's program team and coaches to identify the right opportunities for each student's research, guide them through the process, and build the infrastructure that supports consistent preparation across cohorts.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain a database of publications, symposiums, and competitions for high-school researchers
  • Create guidance materials for students preparing to publish, present, or compete
  • Meet with students to give structured feedback and tailor work to specific targets
  • Set clear goals and strategy for each student's publication or recognition pathway
  • Build and strengthen relationships with journals, symposium organizers, and competition bodies
  • Track outcomes and iterate on strategy to improve placement rates across cohorts

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree with research experience; Master's or PhD a plus
  • Familiar with academic publishing and peer review
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Genuine passion for coaching young researchers
  • International academic or research experience is a plus
